10/4/1956 – 3/18/2018

Born to parents Pierce A. Koslosky, Sr. and Helen Mae Koslosky in Union, New Jersey. Adam graduated from Virginia Tech where he met his wife of 39 years, Kathryn. Adam had many passions in his life, none more than his family. He was a beloved husband to Kathryn and loving father to his sons Christopher (Erica) and Matthew (Morgan). Erica and Morgan became the daughters he never had. Adam’s most prized role was as Poppy to his grandchildren Paige, Gavin, Henry and Sadie.

Adam is also survived by brothers Pierce, Jr. (Candy), Michael (Christine) and Steven Koslosky; sister Nancy (Arthur) Moran; brother-in-law Michael (Connie) Hoskins; mother-in-law Mary Hoskins and numerous nieces and nephews. Adam is preceded in death by his parents; stepmother Betty Koslosky and father-in-law L.E. Hoskins.

“Retiring” after 37 years as an executive at Magnolia Metal Corporation, Adam continued his passion for business, becoming involved in real estate and renewable energy development. Serving his community in many capacities, Adam was especially passionate of his work at Presbyterian Church of the Master (10710 Corby Circle, Omaha, NE 68164) and his many years on the Methodist Hospital Foundation Board (8701 W. Dodge Road, Suite 450, Omaha, NE 68114). In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Adam’s name to these organizations.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Grief is a process that’s different for every individual. It’s comforting to know that we have a Heavenly Father who knows our inner-most struggles to come to terms with our loss. I recently lost a brother, a sister-in-law and most recently a best friend so I can sympathize with your pain. I found a comforting scripture at 2 Corithians 1:3-4 which speaks of Jehovah as the God of all comfort who comforts us in all of our trials. I hope this brings you the same comfort as it has me.
