April Shalon Kinghorn was born in Lake Tahoe Forest, California Hospital in Truckee, California on June 20, 1981 to James Allen and Merry Jo Kinghorn who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her grandma and grandpa Darrel and Betty Bacon of California.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, a loving son, Allen Fenton Turpin and Fiance, Craig Fenton Turpin of Omaha; Sister, Jamie Jo Bowles future Brother In-Law, James Caswell; brother, J.D. One of April’s past times that she loved is to watch Ghost Movies. She also was deep into spirits, she loved to listen to music and if course singing along with it.

April lived and went to school in Lake Tahoe, California until 1988 and then at the tender age of 8, she moved to Lincoln and at a later date, April then moved to Omaha and lived with grandma Kinghorn. When April was a little girl, she loved to play in the dirt on the potting bench and pour dirt from can to can at in grandma’s Addie’s greenhouse.

April will be missed by all of us who knew and loved her. She leaves behind, a great legacy that will live on in us throughout eternity until we meet again.
