Judith Diane Siebler (Mumma) passed away on September 16, 2018 at the age of 74. Judi was born in Milord, Nebraska on July 3, 1944 to Doris June Bartram. She was adopted shortly after birth by Clarence and Virgie Mumma. Judi was raised in Omaha, Nebraska with two adopted sisters, Edna Sudenberg and Ceilia Safford. Later in life she found her biological mother and met two half brothers, Robert and Johnny Coyner. She graduated from North High School in 1962. 

Judi is preceded in death by her biological mother, Doris June Coyner, her adopted parents; Clarence and Virgie Mumma, sister; Edna Sudenberg,  Ceilia Safford, husbands; Marvin L Hansen, Donald D Siebler, Step-son; Edward Siebler.

Judi is survived by her daughters; Jacqueline L Shaw (Leonard) and Jodi L Brennan (Gregory),, brothers; Robert Coyner, Johnny Coyner, step-children; Dona Siebler, Duane Siebler, Kay Siebler, 3 step granddaughters, Kate Brennan, Brianne Ramirez, Michaela Stohler, 2 step grandchildren; Ellie and Domacio Ramirez  and many friends.

Dorothy E. Freeland

Dorothy Elaine Freeland, known and loved by all as “Dottie”, passed away on September 13th, 2018 at the age of 75. Born and raised in Waterloo, Dottie loved all things Iowa. The farms, the trees, the country roads, and most of all the people. She often would be found driving the back roads, stopping in our small towns to explore the unique aspects of where she was. She always found a special memento to pick up or an exciting picture that had to be taken, which she never tired of sharing with everyone.

Dottie’s passion for living and sharing in God’s blessings is epitomized by her lifelong association with Rainbow Girls and Eastern Star. As Worthy Advisor, Mother Advisor, Grand Representative to Vermont, and Grand Electa – Iowa, she was committed to helping these organizations in every way possible. She was blessed with wonderful memories, special friends, and the joy of knowing in some small way she brought a smile to the faces of so many.

Dottie is preceded in death by parents Harold and Harriett Barchus, sister Ellie Barnes, Husband Vern Freeland. Survived by her sister, Eileen Mutch (Jim); her three children, Tricia Croushorn (Mike), Shelly Diehl (Mark), and Dennis Freeland (Jennifer); six grandchildren, Abi, Tyler, Sam, Jordan, Evan, and Ian; and her great grandchild Zach.

Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018, 2pm at First Presbyterian Church, 505 Franklin St, Waterloo, Iowa 50703.

Memorial donations for Dottie can be made to the family to be determined later.

Timothy A Peskey

Timothy A. Peskey, 56, of Omaha, passed away at his home on August 21, 2018 with his wife, Mary, at his side after a long battle with cancer. 

Tim was born to Don and Jacqueline Peskey on July 10, 1962, in Yankton, South Dakota. Tim graduated from Elk Point High School in 1980 and moved to Dallas where he began his career as a carpenter. In Dallas, Tim fell in love with Mary Hirschman and they were married on February 25, 1989. They lived in Dallas for several years.  In the winter of 1997 they moved to Omaha, NE. Tim was a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle and dear friend to many people and he will be missed by everyone. He was always generous with his time, talents, and treasures to anyone in need.

Survived by his wife, Mary Peskey; mother, Jacqueline Peskey, Scurry, TX; siblings: Tammy Moore, Marshalltown, IA; Steve (Paula) Peskey, Carrollton, TX; Bruce Peskey, Scurry, TX; Peggy Peskey of Stanford, VA; parents-in-law, Gene and JoAnn Hirschman, Dakota City, NE; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa (Paul) Tighe, Homer, NE; Gary (Cathy) Hirschman, Peidmont, OK, Matt Hirschman, Lincoln, NE, Mark Hirschman, Dakota City, NE, (Scott) Beier, Dakota City, NE, Tami (Brandon) Eaves, Omaha, NE; and many nieces, nephews aunts, uncles, cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Peskey, and his sister-in-law Jodi Beier.
