Lawrence D. (Larry) Feldhacker

9/23/1940 – 12/31/2017

Lawrence Dean Feldhacker 77 of Elkhorn, NE passed away December 31, 2017 at his home in Palm Springs, California.

Larry was born September 23, 1940 to John and Hazel (Gilgen) Feldhacker in Onawa, Iowa.  He grew up in Spencer, Iowa where he attended grade school and Spencer high school.  After graduation he enlisted in the US Navy and served from1958 to 1961 and then he attended Esterville College.  Larry married Mary (Terry) Sullivan on January 26, 1963 in Redwood City, California.  They moved to Omaha in 1964 and raised three sons (Bill, Rick and Mike) and one grandson (Travis).  Larry founded his own business TSA Manufacturing which he operated until he retired.  Larry loved hunting, fishing, traveling and especially spending time with family and friends.

Larry is survived by his wife Terry of 55 years, sons Bill, Rick and Mike, grandchildren Richard and Travis along with one great-granddaughter Isabella; Brothers Jim (Alene), Ronnie, Dennie (Virginia), Greg; Sisters Jean (Don) Garrison, Joyce Keller, Patty (Ron) Scott; nieces and nephews along with many, many friends.

Visitation Monday 5-7 PM with Vigil Service 6:30 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Funeral Mass Tuesday (1/9/18) 10:30 AM St. Patrick Catholic Church 508 Angus Street Gretna, NE. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Gretna, NE.  Memorials to St. Patrick  Catholic Church or Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

William H. Lyles “Bill”

William H Lyles, Bill,82 of Omaha Ne, passed away December 24, 2017 after a battle with cancer

Born July 7, 1935 to Elgin and Maudie Lyles with older sister Annabelle Sillik and older brother Elton Lyles(deceased). Bill grew up in North Omaha in the Ponca Hills area. He graduated from Omaha Technical High school in 1952.  He served in  the Naval reserves from 1952 to1960. He started his career with Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1954, and would retire from the same in 1986.

In 1953 Bill married Donna Swanson also from Ponca Hills.  They had Cheryl, David, and Karen. Donna passed away in 1980.  Bill married Laura Andersen, of Blair Nebraska, in 1982.  After retirement in 1986, Bill and Laura traveled extensively enjoying winters in Texas, California, Florida and Arizona.  They were active members in Trinity Lutheran Church, where they willing supported the church in many aspects and were active in many roles.

Bill is survived by his wife Laura Lyles, his children Cheryl Lyles (Steve Lakomy) , David Lyles(Shari), and Karen Hurley(Doug Lindemuth).  Three granddaughters, Ashley Lyles(Phil Lindsay), Kelly(Andrew) Portis, and Karrie Lyles.  Two great-grand daughters Olivia and Sarah Lindsay.  He is also survived by Laura’s family, and other friends and family from his church, his neighborhood, his travels and his life.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday January 3rd at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church 6340 N 30th Street Omaha, NE. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date.  Honorary pallbearers are lifelong friends Jerry Hodges, Ted Kostkan, Lou Benton, and Bill Bowen

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society

M.L. Lee

Mr.  M. L.  Lee was born to the parents of the late Zack and Rosie Lee was born May 23, 1938 in Attala County Kosciusko, Mississippi. On December 23, 2017 he departed this life at his home in Omaha, Nebraska.

In 1958 he married Lillie Mae Kern and to this union five children were born. Ms. Linda R. Lee, Mr. Archie Junior Lee (Audrey), Ms. Brenda R. Lee, Ms. Loretta L. Lee, Ms. Stacey B. Lee, all reside in Omaha, NE and five grandchildren. Fannicha Lee, Dennisha Lee, Patricia Lee, Lily Lee and Caleb Bates, and three great grandchildren Alaysia Hunter, Zaria Hunter and Daylin Jackson.  Survived by sisters L.G. Riley of Kosciusko, MS and Darlene Lee of Milwaukee, WI And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

M.L. accepted Christ as a young man and attended church with his parents.  At a later date M.L. and Lillie came to Omaha and found a church home with the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer.

Dad was a family man and loved providing for his family, he extended a helping hand to anyone in need.

Dad’s favorite things and what he loved to do most is play the guitar, listen to B.B King and Chuck Berry, watch old western movies, work in his garden and voicing his opinion on everything.
