John Charles Furrow-a.k.a.Jack, was born and raised in Lincoln Nebraska within earshot of Memorial Stadium. He graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School and entered the University of Nebraska with a major in Geology!!! While there exploring rocks he also discovered the love of his life, Ann Marie Klein. The beautiful blond captured his heart and changed his life forever! Their life together became an adventure. They took respite from there busy careers, Jack in banking and Ann in teaching, to go travelling to beautiful and exotic places the world over.

Jack was a passionate Nebraska Football Fan. He and Ann supported the University as loyal fans, giving alums and sponsoring a scholarship in Ann’s name. GO BIG RED! Family and friends were extremely important to Jack. From playing bridge, to the Community Playhouse, to church and service to others, he was always willing to give of his time and talents. He was a gentleman of the first order and a great ” wise guy ” in the Living Nativity every year.

Jack and Ann were the beloved aunt and uncle to Rod and Bev’s children, Joe, Sarah, Rachel and Leah. Birthdays and holidays were always happy family occasions that were celebrated together. Jack was always ready to prove wisdom to their lives. He eagerly assumed the role of “the Rich Great- Uncle” showering the little nieces and nephews with countless gifts. His favorite presents were loud, noisy singing stuffed animals of every variety. His greatest gifts to all of us however, are his love, his kindness, his friendship, his forgiveness and his generosity! His absence will only be physical for he will be in our hearts forever ‘Til we meet again.
