Cary Manson was surrounded by his devoted family when he passed away at Methodist Hospital at the age of 77. He was born in Nebraska City, attended Tech High School in Omaha, NE. He worked for United Airlines as a Lead Ramp Serviceman and Grounds Safely Coordinator for 40 years where he was honored with the United Airlines Community Service Humanitarian Award in 1995. Cary was passionately involved in Tangier Shrine, an organization dedicated to helping children and served as Potentate in 2010. A Master Mason for decades, he severed as Master of Florence Lodge No. 281, and was a member of Nebraska Lodge No. 1, Scottish Rite, Mt Calvary Commandery No. 1 Knights Templar, and numerous other Masonic related organizations. Cary was also very active at Covenant Presbyterian Church and his faith was an ever-present source of strength in his life and in death. Cary was a compassionate, loving husband, father, and grandfather with a welcoming smile and would be the first to volunteer to help a friend or family member in need.
All who knew him will forever remember his warmth and kind-hearted spirit.

My condolences to Cary’s family. Cary will be missed. He was quick with a smile, and was always a gentleman. His laugh was one of a kind and I will remember it, but more importantly I will always remember Cary for the kindness and caring he showed to everyone around him. My thoughts and prayers for Cary’s family. Rest well my friend
