Evelyn Denise Lyle, 46, passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2016. She was born October 24, 1969 in Omaha, NE. She was the proud daughter of Arthur and Marva Lyle. Evelyn graduated from North High School, served Honorably in the United States Army and had an Associate’s Degree in Nursing with Honors.

To know Evelyn, you will remember her by her soft spoken voice and her beautiful smile.

Evelyn was a loving woman, devoted mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother.

Evelyn’s pride and joy was her family. As we celebrate her life she lived, she leaves to cherish her memories her soul-mate of 6 years Andrew Taylor; father Arthur Lyle of Tecumseh, NE; daughter Tyrina and son Tyrell Lyle; 4 grandchildren Trevyn, Dontre, Antonio, and Tion; 2 brothers Arthur Lyle, II. of Grand Island, NE and Carl Lyle of Omaha, NE; sister Shirley Johnson (Larry Grant) of Pensacola, FL; 7 nephews Daniel Lyle, Arthur Lyle, III., Carrell Hunter, Andrew Lyle, Brandon Lyle, Noah Lyle and Deon Lyle; 2 nieces Shaunice Lyle and Whitney Carter (Marshall); other relatives and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her loving mother and best friend Marva Lyle and brother Lee Highley.

She will be well loved and will be greatly missed.

She was born to George and Willie Hickman on December 21, 1937 in Kemper County, Mississippi.  She was preceded in death by both her parents, as well as her husband, Alex Kellum, Sr., her eldest daughter, Ella Ree Cast and son, Willie Tiller, Jr. In addition to; five sisters and six brothers.  She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters; Glendale (Odell) Reed, Atlanta, GA, Sarah & Darlene Tiller, Gail Kellum-Traynham, all of Omaha, NE; her sons; Charles & Antonio Tiller, Allen (Gloria) Kellum, and Alex Kellum all of Omaha, NE; sisters, Gloria Sanders, Omaha, NE, Minnie Hickman, Preston, MS, Valentine Gully, St. Louis, MO; brothers, J.W Hickman, Rock Island, IL., Terry & Seal Hickman, both of Preston, MS, 33 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.
