Antoinette “Toni” Prince was born December 15, 1954 to Archie and Ida Prince in Omaha, Nebraska. She was the fourth child, third of seven girls born to this union.

Toni attended McMillan Junior High and North High School in North Omaha. She received Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pilgrim Baptist Church and later united with Paradise Baptist Church.

Toni kept her family close and they brought her much happiness especially when her grandchildren were born and then great-grandchildren, she liked nothing better than to be surrounded by her family.

Toni’s life took a different turn in 1995 when she was diagnosed with Lupus. The disease threatened her livelihood, but she didn’t let it stop her and she fought a good battle. God saw the pain she was enduring daily and decided it was time to call her home.

5/24/2015  Age 48

Remembering Mike
Michael Joseph Beck was born on January 11, 1967 and was welcomed into the Beck family at the tender age of 7 days.  He attended St Margaret Mary’s grade school and Roncalli Catholic and Central High School.
He met Jody Barnes, the love of his life and his soulmate, at a retreat in the spring of 1990.  he told his niece “I just met the love of my life.  She’s an angel.”  They were married on May 15, 1993.
He worked in the IT departments at Methodist Hospital, ConAgra and First National Bank of Omaha.  The happiest day of his life was February 26, 1996 – the birth of his 1st son Kyle.  He was equally thrilled when sons Cody (1/16/1998) and Connor (10/15/2002) were born.  He felt that he was truly a blessed man.
He achieved the one item on his bucket list in getting a new puppy just weeks before he passed.  He enjoyed going to auctions and antique sales, looking for unique pieces of furniture to refinish.  He enjoyed movie marathons with his kids, introducing them to some of his favorite sci-fi shows, such as Buffy and Stargate – the whole entire series!  He enjoyed family poker nights – He claimed it was an educational experience as he was teaching them math skills (not gambling).  He practiced taekwondo and archery with them.  He loved attending his sons’ one act and show choir performances and other activities.
Even though he is not physically here, he will delight in watching over, protecting and cheering on all of his family as they continue living life to the fullest!!!
He is survived by his wife, sons and siblings.  In addition, after re-connecting with his birth parents, he gained an additional family and extended family.  Eternal rest grant unto him.  May he rest in peace.  AMEN.

Visitation Thursday 5-7 PM with Memorial Service Thursday (5/28/15) 7 PM at Roeder Mortuary, Gretna Chapel.  Family request memorials to the family to be determined later.
