Eloise Irene Foltz was born May 30, 1930 in Omaha to Glen and Elizabeth (Little) Sylvester. She grew up on 36^th and Ames and attended Monmouth Park Grade School and graduated from North High School.

Eloise and Vern Foltz were married May 15, 1948 at Holy Angles Church. They had two children Ron & Kathy. They raised their children in their home on Browne St. Eloise moved to a new home in 2004 and then to Seven Oaks at Norte Dame.

Eloise was very active with Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Church and Holy Angles Grade School. She worked 30 years as a meat wrapper at Hinky Dinky.

Eloise loved to bowl and traveled all over the States with friends to the Women’s National Bowling Tournaments. She belonged to the 600 club and appeared on Bowling at Leisure Lanes several times. She also liked to go to their trailer on the lake with friends and family, Church, travel, shop, read, do word puzzles and spend time at the boats.

Her other love was her family. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters, Bev, Shirley and Sharon. She cherished her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and always looked forward to seeing them.

She was preceded in death by: Husband of 49 years: Vern Foltz; Survived by Children: Ron (Mary Pat) Foltz, Kathy (Neal) Seibold; Grandchildren: Chris (Jen) Foltz, Terri (Chet) Crinklaw, Lisa (Wyatt) DeWeese, Karen (Rick) Neneman; 8 Great-grandchildren; Sister: Sharon Cook; Many nieces, nephews, other loving family & friends.

November 7, 1964 – September 21, 2018

Rob was born the son of Phyllis Marie Bruns (later Koppert) and Robert Edward Koppert in Salinas, California on November 7, 1964 and was raised in the Lutheran faith.  He graduated from Milford High School in 1983 where both of his parents were school teachers.  Rob went to school at Brown Institute in Minneapolis where he earned a degree in Radio Broadcasting.  After working radio in Minneapolis, Rob landed a job at KICD radio in Spencer, Iowa where he worked for many years.  While working there and living in Milford, he became a firefighter and EMT serving as a volunteer with Milford Fire and Rescue Department and on the ambulance for Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Spirit Lake.  Next, he found his second calling and moved to Atlantic, Iowa where he worked as the Cass County Emergency Management Coordinator and later as the Cass County 911 Director.

At only 53 years old, his body was overcome by the illness of colon cancer.  He was diagnosed on November 26, 2016 and fought hard to keep the illness at bay.  Multiple surgeries and chemotherapy slowed the progression, but the cancer was ultimately discovered too late and could not be stopped. As the cancer progressed, Rob was unable to work and made the decision to move  from Atlantic to Gretna, Nebraska.  This was so he could be close to major railroad systems and trains.  Rob was an avid railfan and would spend hours and hours watching, videotaping and photographing trains and rail yards.

Besides being an expert in train spotting, Rob enjoyed Ham Radio and was a long-time operator with the call sign N0NGZ.

He was thoughtful with his final plans.  Along with his desire to remain at home during the last stages, he declined to have a funeral service or burial.  He directed cremation with the spreading of his ashes in special locations he was fond of near the railroads he visited.

His Facebook timeline shows that there is no doubt he had several passions. Here are some of his words.  “One thing I’ve become acutely aware of since being diagnosed with cancer, is that you learn to appreciate each day as if it were the last. I went railfanning today, it was cloudy, cold and drizzling off and on. Not the best day to shoot pictures and videos of trains, but I got to spend the day doing something I love with good friends.”  He loved music and radio.  “Doing some spring cleaning and going through boxes I haven’t opened for 15 years. Found about 350 CD’s. The gem was a group called Western Flyer. The song (also called) Western Flyer, brings back memories of a happy childhood.”

Shirley Jean Jennings was born December 5, 1945 in Charleston, Missouri. She was the eighth oldest of fourteen siblings born to John E. Jennings & Hester Ann Harris Jennings who preceded her in death. She departed this life on Friday, September 14, 2018 in Jackson, Tennessee.

She grew up in Wardell, MO. and professed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

She graduated from Central Hight School, Hayti, Missouri in 1963. She continued her education in Abilene, Texas and was employed at a Financial Institution.

Shirley moved to Omaha, Nebraska and united with Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Late Pastor John Whittington.

It can be said that she loved her family dearly as well as people in general. She loved the “Sisters Trip” and Family Reunions and her love for the church grew stronger. She enjoyed the choir singing and especially the Preaching, Teaching & Singing by Pastor Terry L. Arvie.

She was employed by the Telephone Company where she retired, but her feeling the need to slow down the pace, Shirley moved to Jackson, Tennessee, united with the Greater St. Luke Missionary Baptist church, Rev. Marvin Hall, Pastor. She became busier – she joined the Ushers Ministry, the Sophisticated Senior Citizens & Tennessee National Baptist Convention.

Brandy Monique Nance was born July 14, 1981 to Brenda Maggett (Nance) and David Poindexter. She received her GED in 1996 and a few years later joined the United States Air Force.

Brandy worked in telecommunications for the hearing impaired.

Brandy loved her family, she was an avid reader and she also loved to write. She was very funny and had an infectious laugh. She was a gifted artist and journaled her daily life.

Brandy departed this life on Saturday, September 15, 2018. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Brenda Maggett; her daughter, Aria Mildred Nance; four sisters, Lisa Brendon (Omaha, NE), Rosetta Bonner (Clearwater, FL), Jaynaze Bonner (Omaha, NE), Maureen Head (Iowa City, IA); 3 nieces, 4 nephews, 5 great-nieces, 2 great-nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Judith Diane Siebler (Mumma) passed away on September 16, 2018 at the age of 74. Judi was born in Milord, Nebraska on July 3, 1944 to Doris June Bartram. She was adopted shortly after birth by Clarence and Virgie Mumma. Judi was raised in Omaha, Nebraska with two adopted sisters, Edna Sudenberg and Ceilia Safford. Later in life she found her biological mother and met two half brothers, Robert and Johnny Coyner. She graduated from North High School in 1962. 

Judi is preceded in death by her biological mother, Doris June Coyner, her adopted parents; Clarence and Virgie Mumma, sister; Edna Sudenberg,  Ceilia Safford, husbands; Marvin L Hansen, Donald D Siebler, Step-son; Edward Siebler.

Judi is survived by her daughters; Jacqueline L Shaw (Leonard) and Jodi L Brennan (Gregory),, brothers; Robert Coyner, Johnny Coyner, step-children; Dona Siebler, Duane Siebler, Kay Siebler, 3 step granddaughters, Kate Brennan, Brianne Ramirez, Michaela Stohler, 2 step grandchildren; Ellie and Domacio Ramirez  and many friends.
