Darleen K. Tonack (Hadan)

Darleen Kay Tonack was born December 3, 1941 to August (Buster) and Margaretha Hadan.  She was raised on the homesteaded family farm between Irvington and Bennington. She helped her family on the farm with the livestock and showed animals in 4H.

She met the love of her life Fred at the age of fifteen and they were married four years later. She was blessed with four children: Dean Tonack, Veronica (Roni) Tonack, Debra Schneider and Vance and (Shana) Tonack; Eight Grandchildren: Jeremey Poston, Jacob and (Angie) Schneider, Caleb Schneider, Shelby and (Lucas Leinen) Schneider, Maggi Tonack, Elisabeth Tonack, Jersey Tonack and Kinsley Tonack; Four Great-Grandchildren: Joshua Poston, Laci Poston, Leo Poston and Kamron Tonack; Brother Larry and (Suzi) Hadan; Sister-in-law Pat and (Ron (Smitty)) Smith; Many Relatives and Great Friends. Spending time with family was her top priority.

Darleen’s first job was selling tickets at Sunset Speedway, her father and uncle built and opened, in 1957. Darleen began working at Blue Cross Blue Shield when she was eighteen and worked there until she retired as a director of Benefits.

She enjoyed riding horses and being a Board Member for the Douglas County Farm Bureau.

During her retirement, she played bridge several days a week and making jewelry.

Darleen spent her final days on the family farm and went home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2018

Lorraine Forycki of Lincoln, NE (formally of Omaha) born May 27, 1923 in Manistee, MI and raised in South Bend, IN. She passed away on August 6, 2018 in Lincoln at the age of 95. Born to Anthony and Elizabeth Ozdyck and married Raymond Forycki, Sr. on November 26, 1949.

Lorraine is survived by her children: Raymond (Diane) Forycki, Jr. of Lincoln, Nancy (Rick) Wise of Mercedes, TX; grandchildren: Jessica (Steven) Teubner, Tiffany (Nick) Powers all of Lincoln; great-grandchildren: Branson, Gracie, & Connor Teubner, Ryla & Alana Powers; sister: Eleanor Ryan & brother: Emery Ozdyck both of South Bend, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Debra; husband: Raymond, Sr.; 4 brothers & 3 sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 5419 N. 114th Omaha, Nebraska. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral mass. Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska

Born August 28, 1965 in Bellflower, California. He served 21 years in the Air Force. He was a very devoted father and husband. Currently reigning international belly flop champion.

Survived by wife Bobbie Simpson, daughters Nikki, Elizabeth, Emily and Taylor. Parents Sandra Sue Wilson and Dwain and Linda Simpson and brother Rick, countless nieces, nephews, family and friends. He passed away on July 28, 2018 at Lakeside Hospital.

Of Gretna, survived by wife: Colette Piccolo  children: Jeanette Piccolo, Theresa (Steve) Linsea, Chris (Renee) Piccolo, Sandy Piccolo and Jeff Piccolo, 8 grandchildren, many nieces & nephews, other family & friends.  Preceded in death by daughter Debora Bercume, parents Subby & Rose Piccolo & sister Nadine Visty.

Joe was the long time Pharmacist in Gretna and owned Gretna Pharmacy. He was a very active and faithful member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Gretna.

Joe loved his family especially his 8 grandchildren. He enjoyed watching old Western’s, playing golf and loved his New York Yankees. People could always hear him whistling away, whether it would be at the store, church or home.

Visitation Tuesday 5:00 – 7:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM all at St. Patrick Catholic Church 508 Angus Street in Gretna, NE, Funeral Mass 10:00 AM  Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church.  In Lieu of Flowers memorials to  St. Patrick Catholic Church or Poor Clare Sisters Of Omaha.

Randy Allen Deal

Age 57 of Omaha, NE passed away on July 25th.

Randy was a creative person, inventing fishing equipment, his art work and woodworking. He was a lover of the outdoors and spending time with family especially his sons. Randy was working for the Habitat for Humanity at the time of his passing.

He was preceded in death by his father; Rawdon.

Randy is survived by his sons; Brandon and Logan, mother and step-father; Arlene and Clyde Durham, sisters; Ronelle Deal, Renee Boyer (Mark), Rita Nutty (David), nieces, nephews, close friend; Tay Orr, mother of his sons; Shirley Deal and many other family and friends.

A Celebration of Randy’s life will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 28th at Roeder Mortuary, 108th St. Chapel with visitation with the family 1 hour prior. Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army or the Habitat for Humanity.
