Cris is proceeded in death by her Father, Arvy Pluntz. She is survived by her Husband, Kevin J. Loewens, Daughter & Son-In-Law, Becky & Dave Hepperlen, Son & Daughter-In-Law, Bob & Katie Loewens, Granddaughters, Ava Loewens & Elle Hepperlen, Mother, Sylvia Pluntz, Sister & Brother-In-Law, Julie & Bill Irland, many nieces, nephews, and beloved family.

Cris was born in St. Paul, Minnesota but lived most of her life in Omaha, Nebraska. She married Kevin Loewens on June 21, 1980. She was a devoted and supportive mother to Becky, Bob and their spouses. Cris enjoyed reading and crocheting. However, she enjoyed spending time with her family over all else. Her granddaughters, Ava and Elle, were the light of her life.

Cris did not allow herself to be consumed by her illness. She remained a very determined, strong and positive person until her very last days. She was an inspiration to everyone around her. She will be greatly missed.

of Gretna – Age 93. Passed away on February 18, 2018. Charles was born in Frannie, Wyoming on April 14, 1924 to Charles C. Nefsky and Lenora W. (Tangemann) Nefsky. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. Nefsky. He is survived by his son Rodney Nefsky (wife Julie), daughters Lenora Nefsky and Canda DeBoer (husband Ken), six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Charles was World War II veteran having serviced with the 9th Army Air Force, 366th Fighter Group. Charles was a member of American Legion Post 216, VFW Post 10725, 40 & 8 and Masonic Lodge. He was active in his community over the years with service on the Gretna Volunteer Fire Department & Gretna City Council and recognition as Gretna Citizen of the year.

Visitation Wednesday 4:00 – 7:00 PM; Service 10:00 AM Thursday (2/22/2018) all at Roeder Mortuary 11710 Standing Stone Gretna, Nebraska, Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery Omaha, Nebraska.
