Marilyn was born in Corwith, IA to George W. and Mary E. (Steil) Brazee. In death she rejoins her husband of 45 years S. Clair, children, Patricia Ann, Christopher Michael and Lucinda Jo, her parents, sisters, Margaret J. (Everett) Slaughter, Shirley R. (Jim) Mennig, brother Raymond G. Brazee and Brother-in-law, Don Weiss. Clair and Marilyn were married June 10, 1956 at Sacred heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove, IA. They moved to the Omaha area in 1958. Their children were raised in the Bennington/Omaha area. Left to cherish Marilyn’s memory are her son, Adam Flogstad, daughters, Jeanette M. (Todd) Donnelly and Ruth E. (Terry) Wilkinson, nine grandchildren: Matthew Flogstad, Mary (Joey) Flogstad, Amanda Anderson, Bill (Sana) Jacobsen, Brady Jacobsen (Daniela), Patrick & Chistian Donnelly, Gage & Grace Flogstad, two great grandchildren: Jaylin Anderson and Emily Jo Flogstad, sister, Sharon Weiss, many nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends.

Joseph Frederic Wreschnig

6/30/1950 – 3/29/2019

Joseph Frederic Wreschnig, age 68, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on March 29, 2019.

He was born on June 30, 1950, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Joseph and Mary Ann (Hrycyna) Wreschnig. Joe graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, a law degree from Marquette University, and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He worked as an attorney in Milwaukee, moving into the financial services sector in Milwaukee and Appleton, Wisconsin. He retired in 2008 as president of Woodman Financial Services in Omaha.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; son, Joseph Wreschnig (Jessica Nienbarg) of Berlin, Germany; daughter, Amelia (Stuart) Gorman of Eureka CA; sister, Claire (Jon) Ingersoll; brothers Nick (Mary Ann) Wreschnig, and Steve (Jan) Wreschnig; aunt and uncle Bob and Florence Wiczynski; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially Shawn, JoAnn, Mark and Tim.

In his retirement Joe enjoyed reading, traveling to Europe to visit his son, and trips to his cabin in Minnesota.

A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held Thursday, April 4, at 3:30 PM at Augustana Lutheran Church, 3647 Lafayette Avenue, with visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, prior to the service.

Private family inurnment at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to Augustana Lutheran Church.
