Omaha. Survived by Mother Ann Wittwer; daughter Laura Suzanne Wittwer; uncle Dick Layson; neice Heather (Paul) McKay; nephew DJ (Mikaela) Layson; grandneice Elizabeth; grandnephews Devin and Zachary.

Peter mentioned to me last night that he saw Dan’s name in the obituaries of the paper–we are so sorry to hear of his passing. Peter lived with Dan for a period of time and worked with him doing maintenance on apartments for Dr. Severa; Dan was my downstairs neighbor during the seven years I rented an apartment at the Nottingham and was always very nice to me. We were glad that he was able to attend our wedding almost 12 years ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.
Oh I can’t believe this. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a really good friend.
Dan was such a gentle soul…he will truly be missed!
