My sympathy to Fred and family. Always seen her at State and County Farm Bureau events with a smile on her face.
I loved working with Darleen, she spoke her mind and was never shy about her ideas! She was a fabulous mentor and someone that always taught great leadership skills and made sure she lived by them too! She took a chance on me and promoted me into management when I was young and helped me learn what was important about being a good manager and leader! She always had my back and she was ahead of her time always process improving things and making sure we did things the most efficient way possible! She commanded respect and I loved watching her in meetings because she had such knowledge and wasn’t afraid to speak up to ensure our customers were getting the best possible service from us. She loved her family and I felt like I knew them from all the wonderful stories she would share with us about being a mom and a grandmother! She truly was one of a kind and I have such fond memories of her! She will be greatly missed!
I had the pleasure to work for and with Darleen at BCBSNE for some time. She was fun loving but hard working always. She will be missed.
