I had the honor of working with Dave many years ago, and I never forgot him. I am sad to now see he’s passed away, but I know he had a life that many of us would envy. His charm and passion are missed even all these years later. God’s speed, Dave.

  • The Long boys says:

Thanks coach. May you rest in peace.

Judy and Family Our thoughts and prayers are with you all . We lived by you in Bellevue many years ago and I think your oldest was born about the same time as ours. Barry worked with David at the base at that time.

  • Brother Gary Bonafilia says:

The memories of my brother David, like the memories of my brother Frank, will be with me all the days of my life. David went to his reward just four days from the anniversary of our other brother, Frank. David’s four remaining siblings will miss him deeply until we can meet again with all of our loved ones in a Greater Glory. Thank You David for all you were to me, you were my inspiration on how to live my life.

    Judy, Kim, Mike, and Kevin,
Words cannot express how much we share in your sorrow. We’ve been friends and a part of each other’s lives since your kids were children. Dave was like a big brother to us! Big hugs, laughter, and fun was his gift to us! He would always tell us how much he loved us. He will truly be missed. Dave, till we meet again, we love you!

    Judy and family,

I was very shocked to hear about Dave passing, my memories of the times I spent with all of you bring a smile to my face. Countless hours watching TV, the 84 Olympics, some St. Louis baseball games… Nothing but good memories with your dad and all of you. I was looking forward to this coming Thursday and saying hi to him and catching up….. Wonderful man who will be missed dearly by many….

    God Bless,

    Jeff (old neighbor) Davis

I used to work with Dave before he retired. He was a good guy and boy did he like to tell stories. He was always kind and always pleasant. Once in a while he would proudly bring in one of Judy’s famous desserts and we would all enjoy eating them!
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dave and I grew up together in Massachusetts and have I fond memories of driving around in his Dads Buick Electra 225, until we broke the transmission, and driving to New York to the “Showboat” so us 18 year olds could drink. Bummer when a peer goes before you.
