2/13/1940 – 5/29/2018
DeAnne Kay Mack was born to Edgar and Helen Heldt on February 13, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska. DeAnne had one sister, Eileen Kuiper, who survives her.
DeAnne, a Benson Bunny, graduated from Municipal University of Omaha in 1962 and soon married Chester B. Mack Jr. She worked as a teacher, food service supervisor and receptionist, but her greatest achievements came as a gifted and accomplished artist first through painting, and up until her death, quilting. A member of numerous local and state quilting groups and guilds, DeAnne was recognized as an award-winning quilter, and these stunning heirlooms will be treasured by her family and friends for generations to come.
DeAnne is survived by her children, John (E. Diane) and Dina (Brad), 4 grandchildren, Clara, Tess, Hollyn, Christie, and 3 great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Syrus and Jackson.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s comforting to know that we have a Heavenly Father who knows our inner-most struggles to come to terms with our loss. I recently lost a brother, a sister-in-law and most recently a best friend so I can sympathize with your pain. I found a comforting scripture at 2 Corithians 1:3-4 which speaks of Jehovah as the God of all comfort who comforts us in all of our trials. I hope this brings you the same comfort as it has me.
