Doris M. (Blundell) Randall was born to Raymond H. and Marjorie (Kierstead) Blundell on September 28, 1923 in Sioux City, IA. Her father was a switchman with the railroad in Omaha, NE. for many years. She was a graduate of North High in Omaha in 1942. She was baptized at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Omaha on April 6, 1947 and became a member on that day.

After her marriage to Robert W. Randall, Sr. in 1941, she worked in their office as a bookkeeper until her divorce in 1963. She worked as a bookkeeper for Sunderman’s and Maytag before going to work as a stenographer and secretary at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After many years, she retired from there.

Doris was a loving and committed mother to her children, Rena Lynn (Randall) Mammel and Robert W. Randall, Jr. You could always count on Mom to listen or help whenever there was a need. When she had grandchildren and great-grandchildren she just opened her heart and arms a little wider to make room for them too.

She was a dedicated golfer and until a month before her death she was an avid bridge player. She loved to play games with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, even video games.

She was called home with her children and grandchildren by her side. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her brother Charles and her sister Lois (Blundell) Childers. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed.
