Age 82 – Preceded in death by wife, Shirely; daughter, Sherri Lynn Boyer and parents, Miles and Bernice Boyer. Survived by daughter, Susan Thomas (John); grandchildren: Erin Brady (Russ), Stephanie Rouse (Nick) and Melissa O’Brien (Trever); great grandchildren: Dallas, Adrian, Kaysen, Brenley and a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at Mortuary with Eastern Star service at 6:30 PM. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 15002 Blondo St., Omaha, NE. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials to Covenant Presbyterian Church or Tangier Shrine Transportation Fund.

Susan and family,
We are so sorry about your loss. We met Gordon at Omaha U. through Marilyn. We have many fond memories of our dinner club, playing cards in your kitchen while you played with our kids. We were devastated when he had the heart attack and went into a coma. It was a miracle that he survived. He lived many years after that, but spent years in therapy.. He was a trooper; didn’t let anything stop him.
He will be missed.
