    To Howard’s Family,
I worked with Howard at 43rd and Cuming for Northwestern Bell. I remember him as particular and exacting. If he gave you a print to draw, it was already perfect. His “rough sketch” often looked better than the result from the drafter. He was as neat as pin. He would tackle any job and never complained. Another, rather funny memory I have of Howard is that he brought his lunch to work everyday. His sandwich would always be wrapped in newspaper. It amazed me how he could fold the paper so snuggly around the sandwich without using any tape. He was soft spoken and kind. The article in the World Herald was interesting. I had no idea that he was a Pearl Harbor survivor. Hats off to a silent hero, and a life well lived.
    God Bless.

To the Children of Howard Linn:
I am saddened by the news of your Fathers passing. I met your Father about 40 some years ago when i was the head hostess at Bishops cafeteria at the Westroads Mall here in Omaha Your father came in every day for Dinner and we used to visit. He was a very gentle soul soft spoken and sweet. Of course after i left we lost touch but when i saw this in the paper this moening i recognized him right away.
You are, and will remain in my prayers
