Jacqueline Delores Harrison “Jackie” was born February 23, 1950, the second child to the union

of Lonnie and Ruth Feaster in Omaha, Nebraska. She became a member of Clair Memorial United Methodist Church at an early age. She was active in the choir and Methodist Youth Fellowship. She attended Webster Elementary School and graduated from Technical High School in 1968. She was active in the choir and the honorary club. Jackie was third in her graduating class and editor of the school paper. Jackie was an avid reader.

She married Jerry Harrison in 1968. After Jerry returned from Viet Nam, they relocated to Colorado Springs. Upon returning to Omaha, they started a family. To this union, three girls were born: Casson, Erica, and Raina.

Jackie became employed with Northwestern Bell, which later became Quest. She retired from Quest after 30 years of service in Data Base Management. She became employed the next day with IBM and retired after nine years of service.

Jackie was a devoted family member and loved spending time with her family. She was active in her high school breakfast club, in the church choir, United Methodist Women, and Women’s Day Committee. She was an avid reader and was involved in politics. She was a Delegate to the Nebraska Democratic Party 2008 State Convention.

Recently, she became a member of International Church that Christ built.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Ruth and Lonnie Feaster, grandson Jordan Harrison. She leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved husband Jerry; daughters Casson, Erica (Greg) Murray, and Raina ( Lewis) Williams Omaha, NE; granddaughters Michaela, Iowa; Jamie, Anyia, Maileeana, Ebony, all of Omaha, NE. Grandsons Jason, James, Julian, Zachari, Lewis, London and Legend; Great-great grandchildren Jalaya and Tyrell of Omaha, NE; Sisters Dorothy Chambers and Marita Franklin; devoted cousins Shirley Jones and Beverly Middleton of Omaha, NE, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

    My heart goes out to you Jerry, and yes it is just a broken when I heard the news about Jackie yesterday. Even though there has been time and distance between us, I thought of you and Jackie as my oldest friends. My love to you and your family, and know that you are lifted up in prayer.
