So sad to hear about Jay! My heart is breaking for you and your family. I feel so blessed that we have so many great memories of fun times spent together! He was a great friend and co-worker! Sending all my prayers and love to your family!
Mora, Kirsten and Hannah,
So sorry for the loss of your dear husband and father, Jay was a very special man and the Klose’s will cherish the memories of our families time together when cheering on the Augie Women’s Soccer Team. He loved and adored all three of you, he will be missed greatly, but not forgotten. We wish we lived closer so we could be there in person to support you, but know that you’re in our thoughts and prayers!
So sorry to hear about Jay. He was a lot of fun to be around; I can’t think of a time when I didn’t laugh long and loud when in Jay’s company. Great memories at Augustana soccer matches in Sioux Falls and on the road, Husker games, and more. Wishing all the best to Mora, Kirsten and Hannah.
Thinking of your family during this time. Jay was an inspiration to so many. His motto was always “see one, do one, teach one.” There was no challenge he wasn’t afraid to take and encouraged students to do the same. He was a mentor and also a friend. Jay will be greatly missed!
Thinking of your family. Sending strength and the hope for understanding to you all.
Mora, Kirsten & Hannah,
Shari and I want to express our sympathy and let you know that we are thinking of you. I know words are of little comfort right now, but someone once shared the following verses, and it brought us comfort: Psalm 34:17-19 “The righteous cry out and the Lord hears them. He delivers them from all their troubles. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit.”
I am sorry that I can’t be there personally this week, but know that you will be our thoughts and prayers.
