Chapman family & friends: May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.

  • Gwendolyn Knave says:

Uncle Jeff was ever present in my life; from my childhood to me becoming an adult. He spoke to me as he would one of his own children when I needed correcting. He opened his family’s home so that his loving wife, Jo Pearl, could care for us while our parents worked. He was a man of few words, but he made the ones he used count – “A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again.” – Maya Angelou

  • Regina Jones says:

Let God replace your grief with hope – your anguish with peace. So sorry for your loss. Though your hearts are heavy right now, in the days to come your smile will return as you remember the good times you shared with Jeff. Our Dear Lord Jesus suffered much so that one day we will no longer experience the pain of losing our love ones. Draw comfort in Jesus’ promise, “I Am The Resurrection and The Life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, Will Come To Life.” (John 11:25)

  • Stephanie Knave-Whaley says:

I remember growing up how I was always on my best behavior when visiting the Chapmans, particularly when Uncle Jeff was around. His deep masculine voice had put that fear in me that Uncle Jeff didn’t mess around and I didn’t want him angry at me. Family, what you have once enjoyed you can never lose… All that you love deeply becomes a part of you. ~Helen Keller
