Johnny (John) Lee Wright was born in Omaha Nebraska to Lovely Wright and BT Wright on December 15, 1953. He graduated from Central High in 1972 and married Sandra L Mickles (Wright) on September 21, 1974, a total of 44 years.

John loved music and was a great musician who played the bass guitar, the piano and other instruments. Throughout the early 70’s and 80s he played in a band that performed at several venues around Omaha with his good friend, Nathan Archibald and others. He loved the time he spent with the band and continued to use music as a vehicle to touch people all over the world. As an entrepreneur, he founded the YRBN internet radio station that plays lectures and songs of praise and worship, and where he hosted a daily talk show lecturing and interviewing religious leaders from around the country. Over the years the station accumulated a large database of lectures covering all topics in Hebrew studies reaching a worldwide audience and active internet community. John had a spiritual side to him, and an inherent ability to listen, to absorb and to offer a point of view based on quiet, measured wisdom. He was caring, and he loved his family. A soul that brought joy and fulfilment to many, and whose legacy will live on forever.
