Omaha – Joshua “Josh” Lee Jensen, 48 of Omaha, NE passed away suddenly on March 10, 2019.
Born 9/15/1970 in Newport Beach, CA , Josh had an amazing presence and a quick wit that could light up any situation he was in. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, camping, hiking and traveling.
After graduating from San Diego State University, he worked in financial services which brought him to Omaha. His true love and passion was his family. Josh was always eager to assist anyone in need and would literally give someone the shirt off his back. Josh may be gone from our sight, but never gone from our hearts and minds. He is survived by wife Lisa, son Riley and daughter Ruby, his mother Teresa , brother Ben and sister Ashley Ebersole, and a large extended family .
Join us at Old Chicago 13110 Birch Dr. on Thursday, March 14 from 6pm-9pm to celebrate Josh’s life.
In lieu of flowers, a college fund has been started for Josh’s young children:
So sad to hear about Josh’s death. He was a good man, was taken far too young! He was my roommate in the fraternity house, and would often eat my leftovers from the fridge. 🙂

My heart aches for all of you. I wish there was something I could do to ease your pain and grief.
Josh was an amazing guy, the life of party, and always kept you on your toes! May all of your happy memories help you ease your loss and begin the healing process. We are a phone call/plane ride away and will be here for whatever y’all need… day or night!
