My sympathies to Roann, Mike, Rick, and the entire Leinbaugh family. I will never forget the fun times I had at his house playing cribbage or an occasional game of poker, or the many times we played golf at Spring Lake Country Club. Mr. Leinbaugh was born to be a Principal and he was very good at his job. He influenced a lot of kids by the way he carried himself and treated others in the hallways, the classrooms, and the offices. He will be greatly missed by a lot of people, whose lives he touched in more ways than you could imagine. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  • John Schofield says:

So very sorry to hear of Mr. Leinbaugh’s passing. He had a special gift in his ability to connect with faculty and students, knowing when a student needed affirmation and encouragement and when to be firm and ensure a student knew what was expected of them. There are no bigger influences on our lives than educators and he was one of the best. I was fortunate to play numerous rounds of golf with him, which was one of his great passions. I’m guessing he’s playing at least 18 holes a day and making all kinds of birdies and eagles in a much better place. Prayers to the Leinbaugh family and take comfort knowing that he had such an impact on so many people’s lives.
