To my cousin Larry. Remembering our times growing up together. It seemed you never aged in your looks. I have pictures of you and some from my wedding where you were one of the groomsman. Your suffering is over. Rest in peace and we will meet again someday.

To my cousin, remembering our times as children, the time you fell out of a tree and broke your arm. Time past quickly. I have pictures of you as a groomsman in my wedding. Your suffering is over and now you have peace

The father of my children. My first true love. The man that shared my most intimate moments. There when our handsome son was born. There when our beautiful daughter was born. There when I needed an ear to listen. My love. My partner in life regardless of being divorced.
The man I couldbe furious with and chew out. But we always smiled when “fussing” with each other.
We lost Larry slowly to Alzheimers. We lost him one memory at a time. We have lost him.
I am lost and feel underwater trying to comprehend a life with out Larry.
I would drive by House of Hope often. Larry would be out in the courtyard often. I would stop to talk to him whenever he was out side. He wasn’t sure who I was. But he would still flirt!
My soul has been torn. I love you Larry W. Troia, Sr.
Rest in peace my dear. You are no longer lost.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. It’s comforting to know that we have a Heavenly Father who knows our inner-most struggles to come to terms with our loss. I recently lost a brother, a sister-in-law and most recently a best friend so I can sympathize with your pain. I found a comforting scripture at 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 which speaks of Jehovah as the God of all comfort who comforts us in all of our trials. I hope this brings you the same comfort as it has me. Larry, getting to know you over the years has been a blast. The family christmas’s at Mom Rocz house, all of the yard parties, fourth of july and the tons of fireworks. Tim has always thought of you as a brother in law. You will be missed very much. May God bring strength and comfort to your children and grandchildren during these hard days. Rest in peace Larry.
