I’m so very sorry for your loss. It’s comforting to know that we have a Heavenly Father who knows our inner-most struggles to come to terms with our loss. I recently lost a brother, a sister-in-law and most recently a best friend so I can sympathize with your pain. I found a comforting scripture at 2 Corithians 1:3-4 which speaks of Jehovah as the God of all comfort who comforts us in all of our trials. I hope this brings you the same comfort as it has me. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. No doubt this is a very difficult time for your family. The Bible speaks of death as an enemy that God’s kingdom will eliminate. Notice the wonderful promise for the future at 1 Cor.15:26“. And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” God will remove death permanently. You can also find comfort in Jesus words at John 5:28-29 “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” May these scriptures bring comfort and calmness of heart to you at this difficult time.
