Lucy Mae Allen was born on November 26, 1944 in Brewton, Alabama to the late Jim Brazile and Magnolia Hartley Brazile. She accepted Christ at an early age and was united with Second Bethlehem Church in Brewton, Alabama. Lucy relocated to Omaha, Nebraska where she joined Eden Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. E.C. Oliver.  As a faithful member, she loved serving in the kitchen cooking for people.  Her favorite quote “My house is just like the church, my door is always open.”

Lucy received her education through the Alabama school system.  She was employed by Kiewit Plaza for 43 years where she later retired from.  Kiewit Plaza was her second family, home away from home.  She, also, worked for Health & Human Services as a care giver where she enjoyed caring for many.

Lucy Allen was preceded in death by Jim & Magnolia Brazile, parents; James (Buddy) Brazile and Henry Brazile, brothers. She leaves to cherish loving  memories three daughters: Mary Ann (Ray) Culliver, Myra Brazile, Cynthia; son: Terrance Allen and adoptive son: Tyrone Roundtree all of Omaha; brothers: Sam (Angretta) Brazile and Tom (Sarah) Brazile all of Johnsonville AL, Phillip (Suzetta) Brazile of Sharpsburg GA; sisters, Pankie Walker, Clara King, Mary Alice (John) Woods, Minnie (Archie) Bradley, Magdlene (Johnny) Swain all of Brewton AL and Francine Archie of Omaha NE. Grandchildren: Lonnie Ray Brazile, LaTasha Brazile, April Brazile, Keiante Brazile, Kelan Ellis, Tazhonica Allen and Terrance Allen and great grandchildren: Rayven Culliver, Armanii Brazile, Alonna Brazile, and Kynlee Minnifield all of Omaha.  Special cousin, Jewel Moody, close friends: Barbara Stevens, Helen Turner, Theresa Hart, Logene Hooper, and Gladys Rodgers, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation Wednesday 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Ames Chapel; Service 10:00 AM Thursday (11/17/2016) at Morning Star Baptist Church 2019 Burdette St   Omaha, Nebraska;  Interment Calvary Cemetery at Omaha, Nebraska
