Mark Andrew Christensen Sr. was born on December 14, 1952 and had a fun filled life in Omaha, NE.  On November 16, 1973 Mark walked down the aisle to meet his beautiful bride Terri (Donahoe) Christensen. Mark had a passion for hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. His mission in life was to teach his grandchildren how to read the river, drive a golf cart, play cards and dice. His grandchildren would call out his name to provide them ice cream sandwiches after a long day of school or learning life lessons. He was a member of the Shriner’s and VFW. His favorite memories of being a Shriner is when he entertained the children, while he wore his red nose as a clown named Suds. Mark was a dedicated son and employee to his father’s company Oil Products.  He had a drive to service his customers in the Nebraska and Iowa area with high quality oil products. His claim to fame was when he introduced Ethanol to the Iowa market.  Mark’s greatest quality according to his family and friends was his undying passion to protect his family and his sense of humor.  He is survived by wife Theresa, children Kelly (Kyle) Schrader, Tracy (Mike) Hasenjager, Mark (Nichole) Christensen Jr., Pat (Colleen) Christensen, Brian Christensen and his sisters Sandra (John) Kresl and Gayle Farris.  God blessed Mark with an army of 11 grandchildren that loved him with their whole hearts.
