My name is Alison and tho I had never met Mark in person, I found him to be a very upbeat person, who kept everyones spirits up pre and post transplant. I admired him for such an attitude and joined him in the 10′[oclock prayer. I was saddened to hear of his passing, I felt as tho I new him, often giving me encouraging comments. My heart and prayers go out to his wife, son and family, so sorry for your loss, heavens gain.

Our sincere sympathy to you and your family, Jo. We did’t know Mark well but he visited Bill when Bill had his heart attack a year ago Sept. Cindy has kept us up to date on his progress through the years.

My condolences to the Melies family. Our family- the Hensley’s, lived across the street from the young Melies gang on South 39th St back in the mid 60’s. I babysat the three wild boys a few times and Mark was especially quick and ornery. Our white terrier would race across that street when Jo would get after her little guys. My mom, Agnes, had some good laughs at the boy’s antics. Your memories of Mark will always be in your hearts.
