Shocked to learn of Mike’s passing yesterday upon calling to set an appointment. He styled my hair for years when I worked at FNBO, but when my employment locales changed, our relationship didn’t. I visited him at his home on somewhat frequent occasions, and we golfed together in the early morning group at Shoreline Golf Course many times. He has always been a gracious, gentile example of a man, and more of the likes of him should be amongst us today… So glad he found love with Linda ~ only regret is that the four of us didn’t get the chance to party together… Mike, I knew you just a bit, but I already miss that you’ve left this plane… RIP, my friend. ~Greg&LaurieTravis/402-290-9499

Mike cut my hair for fifteen years. He was more than a barber, he was a friend and wonderful, intelligent person. A life well lived but way too short. We all miss him.

Mike was my barber for many many years and I enjoyed every time I sat in his chair – I always called him a miracle worker as he honed his craft to a fine art. We always enjoyed talking about family, politics and current affairs in general – he was very proud of his family and always showing me pictures and sharing stories of his grandchildren. You will be incredibly missed my friend – until a happy reunion sometime down the road.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mike’s family. I will miss our lively conversation every 4 weeks for the past 25 years. Mike had a great sense of humor. Your DVR of late night comedy shows and sports center was always appreciated. Before every big event… vacations, wedding, anniversary, having the kids.. funerals.. always went to Mike to look my best and share in life’s moments. Rest in peace my friend.

Harley’s barber shop. Been his customer ever since. God speed Mike.

Mike was my barber for 25 years. He knew I hated two things: pumping gas and sitting for hair cuts. His lively conversations and humor made the later enjoyable. I will miss him greatly.

Mike was my barber for 30 years. During that time we developed a great friendship that found it’s way onto the golf course, one of Mike’s greatest passions. I will always have fond memories of those times on the links with Mike. Rest in peace my friend, and may perpetual light shine upon you.
