Nancy E. Lee

Nancy E. Lee Born in Omaha NE, on January 19, 1954. Nancy attended St Benedict and Sacred Heart Elementary, graduating from North High School in 1973. Nancy served in the Army Reserves from July 1975 to March 1978. She was employed by Western Electric for several years; following that she worked as a Platehandler at Omaha World Herald for several years. She later rejoined the World Herald as an Outside Contractor delivering papers since 2010. Nancy loved to travel, she especially loved going to see one of her favorite teams, the Minnesota Vikings, play. Everyone looked forward to her birthday party every year… there was always going to be plenty of food and plenty of fun! Our Nancy really was a social butterfly! Nancy departed this earthly life December 8, 2018, and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Ethel M Lee and Father, William “Bill” Smith. Left to cherish her precious memories are: Two sisters, Toni C. Lee of Omaha, and Norvella Faye (Darrell) Dean of Santa Clarita, CA. Longtime family friend Sherry Nelson; a host of Nieces, Nephews, and many other family members and friends. NANCY WILL FORVER BE REMEMBERED BY MANY AS “DIRTY RED THE THOROUGHBRED.”

Visitation: 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 17, 2018 Roeder Mortuary, 4932 Ames Ave., Omaha, NE.

Service: 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 17, 2018 also at the Mortuary.  Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery

    My prayer and condolences to the Toni and the entire family!! Dirty Red will be truly missed, she was my road, my ace that would make anybody laugh. A social butterfly she was!! Love and going to miss you dearly Nancy!!
