Age 92. Preceded by husband, Harry Holmes; brothers: Melvin, Oliver, Henry, John and Roy Whatley; sisters: Vera Booker, Laura Whatley-Jenkins, Leola Whatley and Esther Flakes. Survived by son, Mark Holmes (Tara); grandchildren, Amanda McGlasson, Charron Currie (Anthony) and Damion Holmes; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Rebecca Holmes and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation Thursday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with Funeral Service immediately following at 11:00 AM at Hope Lutheran Church , 2721 N 30th Street, Omaha NE.
