Visitation: Friday 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Roeder Mortuary 50th Ames Chapel.

Service: Saturday 9:00 a.m. Joy of Life Ministries, 6401 N. 56th St., Omaha, NE.

Interment: Mount Hope Cemetery, with Military Honors by the Kanesville Riders Honor Guard.

Frances K. Peterson

8/22/1922 to 1/10/2018

Frances was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Frances and Michael Kalcik on August 22, 1922.  Frances grew up with one brother, Ernest, and two sisters, Lillian and Helen. Frances attended Comenius Grade School, Tec High School and College of St. Mary. Frances received a scholarship to College of St. Mary where she studied bookkeeping. Frances loved to ice skate at the Aksarben rink where she met her husband, Glenn.  Glenn was a great ice skater and took Frances under his wing. Frances and Glenn married in 1955 and had two children, Paul and Glenn David. Frances worked at Union Pacific as a typist.  France stayed in great health by walking to and from work every day. Some of Frances’ hobbies include sewing, ice skating, working in her garden and chasing her boys around.

Frances is proceeded in death by husband , Glenn V. Peterson.  Survived by sons, Paul M. (Kathy) Peterson and Glenn D. Peterson. Sister, Helen Johnson. Grandchildren, Alicia, Lauren, Matthew, Nicole and Erin.  Niece, Joyce Johnson.

There will be a private family burial at Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery.
