Queen E. Moore

8/31/1926 – 1/4/2018

Queen Ester Moore was born on August 31, 1926 to the late Mary Ella and Jimmy Jones in Macon, Mississippi. In May 1945 she married her late husband James Moore Sr. in Macon, Mississippi. Together they had 10 children. In June 1965 they moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she began to work at Booth Memorial Hospital. Later she worked at Immanuel Hospital where she retired from in 1988 as a housekeeper. Queen accepted Christ at a young age and attended New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Macon, MS., Corinth Baptist Church and Morning Star Baptist Church in Omaha.
Queen was known as Bill to her family. That nickname was given to her early in life by her Uncle. She was always a loving and caring person. When you went to her house you knew you were going to be welcomed and eat good. She never turned anyone down who needed a place to stay. She had a very loving heart and kind spirit.

She leaves to celebrate her life children: James Jr. (Danielle), Mary Hopkins-Kinnard (Edward), Ottis (Brenda), Frank (Lorena), Henry (Doris), Johnny, Juanita, Robert Moore, Willie Moore, and Mary Shields. Sisters; Ruthie Groves, Laura Judkins, Nancy Jones, Annie Allen, and Lucille Florida; daughter in-law Palestine Moore. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by husband James Sr. son Jerry Wayne Moore, sisters Essie Joiner, Leslie Landrum, Carlean Riley, Rose Buchanan, and Ruth Lee Jones,; brother, Robert Smith; grandsons Otis Lavelle Moore and Timothy Halamek.

Visitation Thursday 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Roeder Mortuary – Ames Chapel 4932 Ames Avenue maha, Nebraska; Service 11:00 AM Friday (1/12/2018) at Morning Star Baptist Church 2019 Burdette Street Omaha, Nebraska, Interment Mount Hope Cemetery Omaha, Nebraska.

4/1/1960 – 1/6/2018

Steven Edward Morlan was born in Omaha, NE on April 1, 1960 to Floyd and Marie Morlan, followed by siblings David, Krisann, Andrew, and Paul.  He graduated from Roncalli Catholic High School in 1978.  He attended UNO, studying Drafting and Design.  He married Cathy Cameli on May 27, 1983 and they had two children, Josh and Rachel.  Steve worked many years in the HVAC industry and was most recently employed with Mid-States Utility Trailer. He was a proud Grampy to Ava, loved cars, and was a big fan of the Huskers and the Chicago Bears.

Omaha – Preceded in death by Parents Floyd and Marie Morlan; Brother Paul Morlan; Survived by Wife of 34 years: Cathy; Son: Josh; Daughter: Rachel & her partner Evan MacDonald; Granddaughter: Ava MacDonald; Brothers: David & Andrew; Sister: Krisann & husband Chris Coniglio.

Lawrence D. (Larry) Feldhacker

9/23/1940 – 12/31/2017

Lawrence Dean Feldhacker 77 of Elkhorn, NE passed away December 31, 2017 at his home in Palm Springs, California.

Larry was born September 23, 1940 to John and Hazel (Gilgen) Feldhacker in Onawa, Iowa.  He grew up in Spencer, Iowa where he attended grade school and Spencer high school.  After graduation he enlisted in the US Navy and served from1958 to 1961 and then he attended Esterville College.  Larry married Mary (Terry) Sullivan on January 26, 1963 in Redwood City, California.  They moved to Omaha in 1964 and raised three sons (Bill, Rick and Mike) and one grandson (Travis).  Larry founded his own business TSA Manufacturing which he operated until he retired.  Larry loved hunting, fishing, traveling and especially spending time with family and friends.

Larry is survived by his wife Terry of 55 years, sons Bill, Rick and Mike, grandchildren Richard and Travis along with one great-granddaughter Isabella; Brothers Jim (Alene), Ronnie, Dennie (Virginia), Greg; Sisters Jean (Don) Garrison, Joyce Keller, Patty (Ron) Scott; nieces and nephews along with many, many friends.

Visitation Monday 5-7 PM with Vigil Service 6:30 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Funeral Mass Tuesday (1/9/18) 10:30 AM St. Patrick Catholic Church 508 Angus Street Gretna, NE. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Gretna, NE.  Memorials to St. Patrick  Catholic Church or Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
