Carroll passed away peacefully surroundrd by his loving family at SilverRidge Village’s Memory Unit. He was Preceded in Death by Wife Virginia, Daughter Cindy, Parents Ernest & Hattie Horst, Brothers Melvin (Boots), Ernest (Bud), Donald, Richard & Robert, Sisters Phyllis, Norma & Ila. Survived by Children Linda Horst, Dean Horst, Joann (Randy) Jackson all Gretna, Ne. Gwin Roger) Keep of Blair, Ne. Gail (Steve) Hansen, Alan (Brenda) Horst, Lorinda (Tim) Northrup all Omaha, Ne. Brother Gene (Eleanor) Horst of Halsey, Ne. Sister Margaret Misner of Gering Ne. The Lord blessed us with 3 Daughters, Janet Nelson, Nancy (Rob) Snoke & Shirley (Bill) Clasen, 9 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, 23 Great Great Grandchildren, 3 Nieces & 3 Nephews. Arlene was Preceded in Death by Husband Nels Harry Nelson, Grandson Troy Petersen. No Service – Cremation. Memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Alzheimers Association.

James “Jimbo” LaChapelle

Born in Omaha, NE, “Jimbo” was preceded in death by his wife, Misako. He was a veteran of WW II, the Korean War, plus the Vietnam War and retired from the Air Force in 1992. He is survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends. Jimbo loved traveling, playing golf, and talking about the days when he was a pilot.
