11/2/1962 – 3/15/2017

of Omaha – Loving sister and aunt passed away Mar 15, 2017.  She was born Nov 2, 1962, in Carroll, IA.  Preceded in death by her parents, Louis Sr. and Evelyn Jenson; sister, Denise Shelburne, and brother, Louis Jenson, Jr.; Survived by Sisters: Linda West, Lori French (Bob); Brothers: Terry Jenson (Carol), Mark Jenson (Chris); Sister-in-Law: Lou Jenson; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 1-3 PM Sunday (3/26/2017) at Roeder Mortuary – 2727 N. 108th St Omaha, NE; Private burial at a later date.

Claire M. Enstrom

Of Gretna,

Claire M. Enstrom was born to Richard and Edith (Johnson) on December 27,1934 at the Oakland Hospital in Oakland, Nebraska.

He lived on a farm west of Oakland, Nebraska with his parents and attended District #74 country school for eight years. He graduated from Oakland High School in 1953.

On December 15,1956 Claire married Ardis Helms at West Side Methodist Church in rural Oakland.  They lived in Grand Junction, Colorado for two years where he worked for Mayhew Oil Company. They moved back to Fremont, NE. and started working at Western Electric in Millard, NE. They later moved to Elkhorn, NE. where they lived for nine years and moved to Gretna in 1967. Claire retired from AT&T in 1988. He then worked part time for Farmers Union Coop in Gretna until health forced him to quit.

He was a member of West Side Methodist Church in Oakland and Gretna Methodist Church. He was on a softball team for West Side Methodist Church, active in the Elkhorn Lions Club and a volunteer fireman on the Gretna Fire and Rescue. He belonged to Eagles Club in Fremont and several bowling leagues in Elkhorn. Claire also served on the Board of Trustees at the Methodist Church in Gretna.

Claire loved to fish, hunt and cheer on the Nebraska football team.

Survivors include his wife Ardis, many nieces and nephews and surrogate granddaughter Caity Clark. He was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers and spouses Leroy (Ruth), Elmon (Helen), William (Viola), Leland (Ethel), and his sister LaMae (Bill Rundle and Byron Brainerd).
Visitation Friday (3/24/17) 10:00 AM till service time, Memorial Service Friday 11:00 AM Gretna United Methodist Church 11457 S. 204th Street Gretna, NE. Interment Elkhorn Cemetery at Elkhorn, NE. Memorials to Gretna United Methodist Church or Gretna Fire and Rescue.
