Wayne was a corporal in the Marine Corps and served his country during the Korean War. He had a long-standing career during which he rose to managerial and executive positions at William T. Joyce Lumber/Hines Lumber and Werner Enterprises, then “retired” to building homes (Windstar). Throughout his life, he was a farmer at heart. Wayne is survived by his wife Jeri, children Kurt (Sharon), Karen Klausner, Val (Jeff) Lennard, Paul (Patt), Nancy (Dean) Dobmeier  and John (Pam); ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, and three sisters. The family requests donations to a charity of your choice in Wayne’s honor.
