Noriana attended Kellom Elementary and Technical High School, both part of the Omaha Public Schools system. Noriana was loved by many and developed beautiful friendships. 5/4/1947 – 10/20/2016

Age 69

Larry passed away 20 October 2016, shortly before leaving home in Gretna for the morning’s business.Larry was born in Billings MT in 1947. A year after high school graduation in 1965, he joined the US Air Force. His twenty-year military career began with duties in Saigon, RVN, flew him to tours in Klamath Falls OR, two tours at Great Falls MT, Hawaii, and Germany and ended as NCOIC of Facility Managers for the 66th Strategic Missile Wing at Ellsworth AFB, SD. Larry retired as a Master Sergeant in 1986, moved to Nebraska, got married and worked for H and H Chevrolet in Omaha NE as a service writer. He fully retired later. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed fast cars, trout fishing, camping, and visiting with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed, and mother, Maggie.Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Caffrey of Gretna NE and his Billings MT relatives, including his dear sister, Nancy (Rick) Zeutschel; treasured Aunt Ida Hochhalter and loyal band of cousins. His first roommate in USAF, Dan Scheeper, remained a good friend over almost 50 years. Larry’s H and H days began his friendship, too, with the “master of all trades” Greg Hermish, who could wire a helicopter and, it turned out, Larry’s 1964 Lincraft Camper. Tom Riester was a good buddy, too, and fellow Mustang owner.Larry’s nephews and nieces filled his heart with gratitude for being able to share the lives of babies growing up into bright and talented adults making this world better every minute. He was especially proud of becoming a Grand-Uncle.Never been a finer day” was Larry Wolff’s anthem, confident in God’s love humming through the business of living. Larry made friends very easily, by looking beyond people’s jobs and into their being.Visitation: Saturday 10:00 – 11:00 AM Memorial Service Saturday 11:00 AM all at Roeder Mortuary – Gretna Chapel Inurnment Omaha National Cemetery at a later date.Lunch follows at the Gretna American Legion Post #216, 11690 S. 216th Street.
