Lindalou was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Brenda J Brown and grandchild, Destiny Nevaeh Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memory husband; Reginald Johnson (Omaha, NE), two children; Desmond Eugene (Nakieta)(Killeen, TX), LaTasha Renee (Omaha, NE); four grandchildren; Desmond Reginald (Killeen, TX), Cherish Unique (Omaha, NE), Quincy Eugene (Killeen, TX) and Lizzie LindaMae (Omaha, NE). Lindalou shared a special unbreakable bond with her four grandchildren that will last forever. She has three brothers; Henry E Strong, Joseph John Harris of (Omaha, NE), Terry M Harris (Rock Island, IL), two sisters; Molly L Williams (Omaha, NE) and Lillie B Brown (Jerry) (Aurora, CO), nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends, close friend and cousin, Helen Martin (Omaha, NE). Wake: Tuesday (10/25/2016) 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Roeder Mortuary – Ames Chapel Funeral Service Wednesday (10/26/2016) 11:00 AM at Joy of Life Ministries   6401 North 56th Street   Interment Mount Hope Cemetery

Delores M. Dotzler

4/10/1931 – 10/16/2016

Delores Marie Dotzler, daughter of Raymond and Adeline (Klein) Thielen, was born on April 10, 1931, in Portsmouth, IA, the first of thirteen children. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Portsmouth and attended St. Mary’s Catholic School.

On January 4, 1951, Delores was united in marriage to Raymond Dotzler at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Portsmouth. Delores was very active with St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Defiance, IA, and worked at the Defiance State Bank. She loved raising their eight children and spending time with family. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this year.

In 1987, Ray and Delores made their home in Omaha, NE where they attended Trinity Church (non-denominational) for many years. For the last seven years they were active in Bridge Church, that was started by their son, Ron Dotzler, and pastored by their grandson, Josh Dotzler. Delores Dotzler’s faith was in her savior, Jesus Christ.

Delores died October 16 after a brief stay at Josie Harper Hospice House. Delores was eighty-five. Delores is survived by her husband, Ray; children: Mary (Art) Bieker of Omaha, NE; Joe (Barb) of Omaha, NE; Ray (Jan) of Omaha, NE; Ron (Twany) of Omaha, NE; Paul (Julie) of Franklin, MO; Dave (Sandy) of Bennington, NE; Beth (Bruce) Connor of Bennington, NE; 37 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren; siblings: Elaine (Jack) Wendt of Portsmouth, IA; Aggie (Paul) Schulte of Carroll, IA; Ray (Judy) Thielen of Omaha, NE; Chuck (Lydia) Thielen of Lincoln, NE; Gemma Finken of Olathe, KS; Shirley (Bob) Hansen of Omaha, NE; Mary Maddox of Olathe, KS; and many other loving family and friends.
