Omaha – Ruby Lucille McMinn was born June 23, 1922 in Protection Kansas. She grew up in Oklahoma during the “Dustbowl” era. Ruby’s early life was made more difficult by the passing of her mother when she was only twelve years old. It was this difficult beginning that forged Ruby’s commitment to perseverance.  Combined with this tenacity was a love that nurtured her family and touched almost everyone she met and knew. Ruby was the mortar for her family. Ruby’s curiosity about and interest in the lives of others was amazing. She had a unique ability to connect with people. Her kindness, honesty and sincerity endeared her to people.

Ruby was devout in her religious beliefs. Ruby’s life is a celebration.

She is survived by her loving husband of seventy three years, Harold McMinn, along with four children Charles, Doug, Brad and Kay. Eleven grand children and eight great grandchildren.
