Vivian C. McWilliams

Vivian was born in Honey Creek, IA to the late Alvin and Myrtle (Olsen) Mace. She graduated from Missouri Valley High School and was married to Gerald D. McWilliams on August, 14 1945. They were married for 43 wonderful years and had three children born of this union; Terry (Beth) McWilliams of Omaha; Jerry (Frances) McWilliams of Omaha, and Vicki (Bucky) Atkinson of Jane, Missouri; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Vivian worked at the bombing plant in Mead, NE during WWII and after she was married, she was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Center Baptist Church for over 60 years and was actively involved in many church ministries during these six decades. She was also involved in the Billy Graham Campus Crusades for Christ ministry and Gideon’s International ministry. Above all she had a strong faith and loved the Lord as well as her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Vivian is preceded in death by her brothers, Kermit Mace and Burley Mace; her sister, Mable (Mace) Corman; her husband, Gerald D. McWilliams; her son, Jerry McWilliams; daughter, Vicki (McWilliams) Atkinson.

Vivian is survived by her sister, Shirley (Mace) McLaughlin; son, Terry McWilliams (Beth); grandchildren, Shawn McWilliams, Shannon Atkinson (Erin), Robin McWilliams, April McCool (Larry), Christi Collins (Johnny), Jason McWilliams (Michelle); great-grandchildren; great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
