Omaha – Preceded in death by Husband of 60 years: Ed Chambers, Sr.; And 4 Sisters; Survived by Children: Marilea Chambers, Carol (Dick) Erickson of Denison, IA, Ed (Flo) Chambers, Jr., Dave (Lynn) Chambers of Delmont, SD, Dan Chambers; 20 Grandchildren; Many Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great- Grandchildren; And a host of other loving family and friends.

She also fostered over 100 children.

Karen passed away Sept. 3, 2015 at Josie Harper Hospice House after a courageous  11 month battle of brain cancer. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother Sharolyn Beck, brother Kevin Beck (Lisa),  special uncle Darlyn Hansen (Anna), loving nieces  Katherine Rush, Mallory and Sydney Iseminger, blessed  with other relatives and many friends and faithful dog, Lolli.
