3/24/1951 – 4/4/2015

Age 64 Edward passed away at home Saturday, April 4, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Johnson from Pine Bluff, AK and granddaughter, Tre’vona Smith from Omaha. He is survived by his mother, Jessie Mae Johnson of Pine Bluff, AK; brother, Elvis B. (Alberta) Johnson of Pine Bluff, AK; sister, Frances Martin of Omaha; children, Jermaine and JoAnn Powell and Delgracious Swift; 3 grandchildren all of Omaha; aunts, Janice Cox and Mildred Lee both of Omaha and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.

VISITATION Friday, April 10 from 6-8pm and HOMEGOING CELEBRATION Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 11am with all services at Roeder Ames Chapel. Interment Westlawn Hillcrest Memorial Park.

MEMORIAL SERVICE Monday 1pm at The Lighthouse at Lakeside, 17600 Arbor Street. Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Worth, Illinois. NO VISITATION. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lakeside Scholarship Fund, 17475 Francis St., Omaha, NE 68130.
