2/22/1930 – 6/28/2018

Christensen, William L. “Bill”  “Chris”,  age 88 years entered into restful peace on June 28, 2018. Preceded in death by parents Harry and Irene Christensen, brother Chet, and sister Harriet. Survived by his adored wife of 59  years Mona, sons Kurt (Jenny) and Erik (Mary) Christensen , daughter Lisa (Jeff) Culbertson, and grandchildren Trevor and Lucas Culbertson.

Bill was raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and was a proud Korean War  Army veteran, business owner, 33rd degree Mason, Kiwanis member. He loved to fly his airplane, scuba dive,  spend time with his family,  and was always ready with a joke.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Josie Harper Hospice for their loving care of Bill and his family.

A Memorial service will be held at Roeder Mortuary in Gretna, Nebraska  on Saturday July 21 at 2:00pm followed by a reception at Resurrection  Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gretna.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Douglas County Historical Society 5730 N 30th Street Omaha, NE 68111, or charity of your choice.

Omaha – Age 64 – Ron went to be with the Lord July 14, 2018. He was preceded in death by Mother: Sarah Cameron; Brothers: Steve & Larry; Survived by Wife of 30 years: Karen; Step-son: Jim (Kathryn) Grandgenett; Siblings: John (Cindy), Patty (Michael); Grandchildren: Sophia & Liam; Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, & many Friends. Ron was greatly loved and will be sorely missed until we see him again.
