Omaha. Preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Dwight M. Frost, M.D.; and brothers, Dick and Charles. Survived by her daughters: Karen Lee Frost of Omaha, Paula Jean Frost of Omaha, and Dr. Patrice Ann Frost of San Antonio, TX; sons and daughters-in-law: Dwight M., Jr. (Kelly) Frost, and Andrew R. (ViAnne) Frost both of Omaha; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, with one on the way; and beloved cat China Doll. Longtime Supporter of the Omaha Opera.

Born to Glenn E. and Avanell M. Cummings. Kathleen graduated from Omaha North High School and soon enlisted in the US Airforce. She proudly served for three years and finished her military career in Colorado Springs, CO. She soon married the love of her life, Jerry Cruz and relocated to East Carbon, UT where they started their family of four children. After the coal mines shut down they moved to Ignacio, CO where she was active in the American Legion Post 36 for many years. She later divorced and moved back to Omaha to be closer to family. In Omaha she met her companion Larry Cornelius and had a variety of jobs. During the last five years of her life she was a dedicated and faithful employee at her brother and sister-in-law’s convenience store.

Kathleen passed peacefully at her home. She is proceeded in death by her parents Glenn E. and Avanell M. Cummings and Granddaughter Latisha Cruz. She is survived by her children; Brandon Cruz (Karla), Sandra Maez (Mark), Ashley Zacamolpa-Flores (Danny) and Amanda Cruz. She also has 15 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Siblings; Glenn Cummings (Becky), Dale Cummings (Pam), Linda Pearson (Mark), Sandy Wolf (Scott).

Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 23rd 11:00 AM, Roeder Mortuary at 2727 N. 108th Street Omaha, Nebraska. Luncheon to follow services at New Life Presbyterian Church 4060 Pratt Street Omaha, Nebraska.
