Born to Ertle & Lydia Frewaldt on October 15, 1922. She spent her early life on a farm with 4 brothers (deceased) and 1 living sister, Mildred, as well as 2 siblings who died at an early age.

Married in 1943 to Dale R. Coates and resided in Madison, SD. They had 4 children: Anita Weidaman (Dennis), Colleen Blanchard, Sandra Heida, & Robert Coates.

Married in 1972 to Dominick Kubik (deceased).

Clara pursued her career as a nurse at Methodist Hospital for 25 years.

Clara was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Omaha – Survived by wife Joy, children Brad (Lee Anne), Jennifer (Rob) Long, Rachel (Josiah) Warren, Jolene Simpson, 8 grandchildren Payton, Hannah, Hailey, Malayna, Hayden, Sawyer, Elsie, Emma, siblings Claire (Gary) Williams, Nancy (Ron) Schutte, Dean (Anita) Simpson,  Jerry (Rita) Petsch, Jack Petsch, Jeff Petsch, Robbie Wademan, mother in law Wilma Petsch, nieces, nephews,  family and friends.

Visitation Friday 9:30 AM till service time. Celebration Service Friday (6/1/18) 10:30 AM  at Gretna United Methodist Church 11457 S 204th St. Gretna, NE. ( Come to the church from Angus Street) In lieu of flowers memorials to the family to be distributed amongst Ken’s favorite charities.

Joyce Allen

Joyce Elaine Allen, age 64 of Omaha, Nebraska passed away Monday, May 21, 2018. Joyce was a graduate of Omaha South High School class of “72”. She became a mother in October 1974 to her son Chris. She married her husband Charles on November 4, 1978. Charles had a daughter Kristi and son Tommy. A few years later they were blessed with daughters; Melissa in June 1981 and April in November of 1983.

Joyce was a woman who always put everyone else first. She loved bowling, bingo, and traveling to many places. Joyce loved going to Minnesota each summer with her family and Disneyland multiple times with her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed every moment she had with her children and grandchildren. For someone afraid of water she found a love for going on cruises.

Joyce is Preceded in death by: Parents, husband Charles, grandsons: Joey IV and Clayton.

She is survived By daughters: April Mitchell (Will), Melissa Alford (Eddie); Sons: Tommy Allen (Lori), Chris Oliver (Heather); many Grandchildren; 4- Great-Grandchildren; Brothers: Mark, John, Rich. Sister: Pat; nieces, nephews, many other family and friends.

 

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday May 29th at Roeder Mortuary 50th Ames Chapel.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday May 30th also at the Mortuary.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
