US Navy Veteran of WWII & Korea. Retired from Union Pacific with 43 years of service.   Member of VFW #1, Eagles, American Legion, Union Pacific Old Timers, & United Transportation Union.

Evelyn was born July 25, 1929 in McCook, NE to Frances (Tines) and Orval Crawmer. She attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln on a Regent’s scholarship, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Evelyn taught in McCook, Lincoln and Omaha before marrying her high school sweetheart, Bradley Duckworth, on December 26, 1952. He preceded her in death. She is survived by her children; Fred (Stephanie), Pat (Kathy), Michael, Susan Bostwick and Angela Reiber, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 3, from 5:00 to 6:30 followed by a rosary at Roeder Mortuary, Her funeral service will be held at Saint Philip Neri Church 8200 N. 30th St. Omaha on Friday, May 4, at 11 AM. A luncheon will follow.
