Patricia V. Rinn (Pat)

Patricia Victoria (Hollihan) Rinn died August 29, 2017. Born October 14, 1929 in Hollywood, California to Victor and Alice (Makary) Hollihan, she devoted her entire life to her faith and family. Preceded in death by Charles Richard (Sheehan) Rinn, she is survived by 11 grateful and blessed children. Tireless and tenacious, she remembered birthdays, anniversaries, special stories about each child, grandchild and great grandchild. Nothing brought her more delight than holding her precious babies, all of them. Patricia was a world traveler with a special devotion to St. Mary’s Catholic Parish serving as a CCD teacher, singing in the church choir, assisting at funeral luncheons and serving as the school’s librarian.

Survived by sons, daughters and spouses; Patrick Rinn, Kathleen (Dan) Cain, Colleen (Dewight) Batt, Carolyn (Dave) Hudson, Mary (Jeff) Pagnard, Frances (Tom) Garvey, Peter (Kelly) Rinn, Patricia (Randy) Smith, Gretchen (Jeff) Kruse, Andrew (Mary) Rinn and William (Natalie) Rinn. Also survived by sister Grace Hungerman and brother John Hollihan, 24 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Welcomed into heaven by her husband and parents, grandson Benjamin Andrew Cain and all grandchildren living with God.

Visitation Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 5-7 PM Roeder Mortuary 2727 N 108th Street Omaha, NE. A Celebration of Life Mass Friday September 1 by Fr. Dan Kampshneider and Fr. Joseph Sund beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church located at 2302 Crawford in Bellevue, NE 68005. Interment is at Bellevue Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Nebraska Children’s Home.
