Sandy’s daughters,
We are very sorry for your loss. Your mother was a very strong women, who loved you girls alot and fought a long, hard battle to be with you for as long as she could. Cherish your memories of the good and happy times from her life and smile. My mother passed away just a little over a year ago. I think of her every day and remember little things she would do or say. I will tell you that it really does help to keep some of her things around me. I often wear a necklace or bracelet of hers and it’s surprising how close it makes me feel to her, just from something little like that. I see her art hanging on our wall and it makes me think of her doing her oil paintings. Keep your mothers things around you, use them, talk about them….it will give you joy. Sincere sympathy,
You will be truly missed Sandy. You were an awesome friend and wonderful neighbor. You fought a valient fight. Rest easy, miss you
Sandy was my first cousin but a little older than myself, but my sisters were her friends. They always had fun when they were with her🤗 I didn’t see much of her but when I attended Dan’s funeral I could see how much she loved and admired that man❤️ I knew she would be lonely and would still have to battle that dang cancer. She said she would miss him terribly but she still had her girls and step family and she knew she would be alright, she would fight her cancer to her very last breath. And she did.! RIP dear cousin and rejoice in finally meeting up with your family and friends in heaven🙏
Sandy was a great friend to my sister Nancy Ivey. She and Dan had been friends with Bob and Nancy for years and Sandy and Nancy kept in touch.
I am so thankful for the few days that we were able to spend together on her trip last summer to see us. She was truly an inspiration & handled all her adversities with such fortitude, never once asking “why me”. I learned much from her as to how she dealt with whatever “hand” she had been dealt in life. God Bless her & Sandy pray for the rest of us & “leave the light on “ until we can join you.
